‘Our Street’ is bringing Buxton people together. Through a series of events and activities, we’re support local artists and organisations to connect communities with Spring Gardens and its surrounding streets. We celebrate the heritage of the area, have fun and create lasting memories for participants and audiences, locals and visitors, young and old.

Buxton is one of over 60 towns across England to have been granted funding to enliven their high streets with art, performance, workshops, games and more. Our programme runs until April 2024.

Inclusivity, accessibility and sustainability will be at the heart of all we do. Throughout the length of the project, we’ll have representatives of our Young People’s Panel engaged in the planning and production process. Buxton has a vibrant cultural life, deep history and plenty of personality. Our events will embrace this, connecting people and place, so that we see where we’ve come from, where we are and where we are going.
